Live like a local for the day as you shop the “small but mighty” Healdsburg Farmers' Market and cook with ultra-local and seasonal wine country ingredients.

Relish owner Donna del Rey will lead a stroll through the Market to meet the purveyors, taste and learn about their exquisite products and explore new flavors. Guests will help select the seasonal fruits, vegetables and artisan cheeses that make up the menu, with extra time to purchase goodies to take home.

After our time at the Market, participants will meet at a nearby scenic location to create and share lunch. Guests will learn techniques for cooking with the just-gathered ingredients before sitting to relax and savor the hearty farm-fresh meal with specially selected local wines.

This Relish class includes 8 ounces (2 glasses) of premium wine per person served to all participants over 21 years of age. Additional wine is available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
Vegetarian, gluten- and dairy-free restrictions can be accommodated if specified as part of the class registration. Due to the rustic nature of our lunch locations other dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding.

Discover the secrets behind two of Italy’s most popular cheeses - Mozzarella & Burrata. This festive and interactive experience covers the technique of pasta filata (stretched curd) cheese making.

Led by Relish’s founder-owner Donna del Rey, participants will start by mastering the precise, gentle techniques required to turn curd into delicate, fresh mozzarella in different shapes. Then, we’ll take it a step further by learning how to create rich, indulgent, stracciatella-filled burrata.

Although you will be tasting along the way (of course!), the experience ends with a Cheese-alooza of the still-warm Mozzarella & Burrata with favorite accompaniments, including heirloom tomatoes, aged balsamic vinegar & more, for guests to create their own perfect bites paired with selected Gary Farrell wines.
