PRIVATE EVENT FAQS

  • Please contact us via phone or email so we can gather basic information—location choice, date and time, number of guests, type of event, etc. We will send you the site-specific menu(s) and estimated cost as we verify availability with the location. When you are ready, we’ll send a contract outlining details of the event and final cost. Your event date is locked in once the contract is signed and we then have time to work on final event details.

  • An initial payment equal to half of the estimated event cost as outlined in the contract is due when the contract is signed. The final payment is due one week before the event with the final count. Relish accepts payment by credit card, check or electronic funds transfer. Regardless of form of payment, a credit card will be kept on file for possible after-event charges (beverages, corkage, overtime, etc.) Clients receive an invoice after each payment for their records

  • The capacity for a hands-on cooking experience varies for each location. All locations can accommodate up to 20 people and some can accommodate more. We do not require a minimum group size but we do have minimum prices so please contact us for more information.

  • We recommend that you think about what kind of gathering you envision—casual and cooperative or high energy and competitive—and your budget. We are happy to talk with you about the venues, menus and themes and how each might be suited to your group. We can also customize menus and other elements of the event to make it truly unique.

  • Once a contract is signed, we ask that you choose from the available menus and advise us on any food restrictions at least 2 weeks before the event. We then substitute ingredients to seamlessly accommodate all guests. Because we order food specifically for each event, we are able to accommodate virtually any combination of dietary restrictions as long as we know at least two weeks before the event. After that time, we may not be able to accommodate without additional cost.

  • Yes. Relish offers culinary tours to some of our favorite local producers, including cheesemakers, farmers, winemakers, olive oil producers, fishermen, and more. Please call us to discuss your timeline and budget and we’ll create a delicious and memorable custom itinerary, with or without a cooking component.
